Public Holidays
In China there are 4 major national public holidays out of
the year:
* The New Year's Day for 3 days between January. 1st --- 3rd.
* The Spring Festival (usually falling between late January
and mid-February) for 7 days;
* The International Labor Day for 7 days between May 1st ---
7th
* The National Day for 7 days between October 1st --- 7th
It is customary for people to"borrow"
weekends to make it as long as 7 days of holidays.
All offices and enterprises in China follow the system of
five-days work in a week.
